UNIVERSAL MOBILE ANTI-X SCREENS – OPERATOR

Dimensions:

  • Fully down: 78 × 118 cm (H)

  • Fully up: 78 × 190 cm (H)

  • Weight: 64 kg

Description

Mobile anti-X screen specifically designed to protect the operator present in the room from scattered radiation.

Particularly suitable for interventional radiology environments, it protects technical staff assisting physicians during periods of indirect operation.

Extremely versatile and lightweight, it can be positioned anywhere in the room thanks to its compact size and the smooth movement of its swivel wheels made of special low-friction “Santoprene.”

The lower frame is made of steel with Pb equivalence 1.0 mm, oven-painted with epoxy powder coatings, making it resistant to impacts and scratches, and allowing easy cleaning and disinfection.

A standard 10 × 25 mm tool rail (DIN standard) is mounted on the lower screen for attaching various supports and/or RX table controls, allowing staff to operate safely near the table.

The upper screen is high-quality, transparent “Acrylic” anti-X. Its specific acrylic structure makes it highly resistant to impacts and cracks, ensuring safe use even during movement. The edges are ground and rounded. Lead equivalence is 0.50 mm Pb, uniform across the entire surface. It comes with a protective film (to be removed before use) for protection during production and transport.

The “Up & Down” sliding movement of the acrylic screen is assisted by two counterbalanced springs, facilitating handling and keeping the screen in position once released. Smooth and precise guidance is ensured by self-lubricating nylon pulleys and stainless steel rods fitted into Delrin bushings.

Movement is on four swivel wheels, Ø 80 mm, made of low-friction “Santoprene” with stainless steel bearings and brackets. Two wheels feature parking brakes. It is recommended to lower the acrylic screen before moving the unit.

Before use, remove the transport safety locking screw located at the bottom of the screen (see user instructions).

Maintenance – Cleaning: The screen requires no special periodic maintenance other than functional checks and cleaning of the screen and wheels. For cleaning and disinfecting the lower part, specific products are available from EUROPROTEX Radioprotezione s.r.l. For cleaning the acrylic screen, use alcohol with a soft cloth (other products may cause clouding).
